Itinerary description
Out and back ride from Patras to Alepochori.
I heard a lot about this route but never quite made it to any of the organized group rides. Another reason was an April runnning race that will pass this village and I wanted to check out the area a bit.
Classic get out of Patras via road 111 all the way until the new dam in Asteri (actually just a kilometer before the village). Then turn left/straight of the main road in direction to Alepochori and following the asphalt. Great ride on nice and quite roads with pretty much zero traffic. The asphalt is not the best, but rideble all the way on slick tires.
