Itinerary description
This is a there and back ride along the largely flat part of the Ystwyth trail, turning back with a small road loop where it starts to climb out of the valley towards Tregaron. Generally excellent surface though gravelly in patches, care needed on road sections. No refreshment stops en route - take sandwiches. A good picnic spot near Trawscoed. We did it on one of the hottest days of the year, 29 degrees - fortunately a fair amount is shaded. A great ride, mostly along the old railway line. Rated moderate because of gravelly sections and steep descent around the turning point.
