Spot with nice view. Looking to the northeast, you can see Evia, which is the second-largest island in Greece. Follow the road for about 50m/165ft. .

Continue straight (north) to the asphalt road. The dirt road to your right (south) leads to the water springs, Messiano nero (350m/0.2mi) and Koromilia (2.2 km/1.3mi).

To your right is the chapel of St. Peter. It is an ideal place to stop after 3.6 km (2.2 mi). Look in the yard for walnuts and plane trees, wild roses and for the hollow on the almond tree. The flowers of the wild rose have beneficial abilities for the human body. However, in the national park of Parnitha, it is NOT allowed to cut any flowers. ! Caution ! Do not sit under the roof of St. Peter's chapel because it is not stable.

At the junction, in order to continue the route, you will head to the left (northwest) and you will pass the closed bar. From this point on the route you will not meet cars for a while. * At this point you can make a short detour (1.5 km/ 0.9mi) and visit the Mola forest recreation area. Shepherds used to bring their sheep during the summer months in the plains of Mola. To get to Mola you will head north (right) on the dirt road.

From this point, you can see the damage which was caused by the fire of 2007. The fire broke out on June 27 of 2007 and the 2/3 of the fir forest, which is very difficult to regenerate, were destroyed. You will notice the reforestation projects as well as the valleys with the plane trees. An ideal spot for a break. You are in the middle of the route (7.5 km /4.6 mi).

The place to your right was a deer breeding farm until 2007. A seed bed is located next to the farm for the reforestation of mount Parnitha.

Crossing the barrier you are head straight (southeast). From now on the road has cars. The enclosed space with the small chimneys to your right is a tank which supply water to casino Mont-Parnes.

Continue straight (east). In your right hand there is a forest rangers' house. A few meters below you will see the Environmental Education Center.

At the junction with the main road, follow the road to the left (east). On your left is the Holy Trinity chapel. In the open space to your right, there are usually lots of deers.
