Itinerary description
Very easy trail from western Ottawa area along the banks of the Ottawa River - crossing at the Champlain bridge to cycle in Gatineau on the north side of the river, crossing back over to Ottawa at the Alexandra Bridge to pass the parliament buildings and cycle back along the south side of the river. Passes quite a few landmarks and pretty vistas. There was a lot of construction on the trail when I did it, hence some of the bizarre detours, but normally this would be very easy to follow - paved path with big yellow dividing line for most of the way.
