Itinerary description
Sorry, but the University of Nevada waypoints didn't load. Look for a cozy fountain under the trees by Morrill Hall, and the seated statue of Senator Richard Bryan, one of the good ones.
I rated this ride moderate only because of the climbing, but all climbs are taken super slow, so not bad at all.

Brothers Chet and Link Piazzo - Reno icons. Way back in the 1960's had "Sportsman's Corner" local TV program. And the sporting goods store.

Midtown Art
Roundabout at Virginia and Center St. Back before the freeways, Virginia was the main road between Reno and Carson City. Locals all took Center Street to avoid downtown Virginia St. traffic, such as it was in the day.

Old Virgina Truckee V&T Railroad marker
Railroad line from the Comstock silver era to the 1950's. Ran Virginia City to Carson City to Reno. Railroad route was up the present day Holcomb St.
