Itinerary description
About 1 hour drive from Reno, NV. Start from Incline Recreation / Tennis Center to Sand Harbor, lots of free parking. 85% on bike paths. Lakeside Drive bike path goes past very expensive well landscaped homes. Entrance fee for pedestrians to Sand Harbor is $2. Summertime the Sand Harbor park walkways are narrow and crowded with beach goers, so riding anywhere but the parking lots in is often limited to just walking your bike. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day off season times are best.
Difficulty: little bit of moderate uphill at the beginning and end. The middle has one 100 foot plus 10 story climb, coming and going. If you gear all the way down to granny gear, it won't be a problem.
