Itinerary description
Starts from Lighthouse Coffee intersection of Los Altos and Vista Blvd in north Sparks. Ride is mostly on gentle grade bike paths and safe streets around Wingfield Springs and Golden Eagle Park and Kiley Ranch areas. One single short stiff climb at the entrance to Golden Eagle, about 3.3 mile mark. You can avoid that climb completely by taking Touchdown Drive to the left instead of going straight uphill on Homerun Drive. Ride also includes maybe 1/2 miles on well maintained hardpack dirt trails that are pleasant with arbor like tree cover.
