Itinerary description
This was a fantastic ride.
Heading initially west through the Amager Nature Park and then turning north up the cycleway to the golf course. Then out onto street cycle paths to view the Oerestad Canals and the development in the area. I continued as far north as the Amager Common. The Oerestad Canals and Amager Common are both Copenhagen Green locations. At this point I crossed through to the coast and then came down the coast. This allowed me to look at a lot of the new developments (interesting buildings) and also look across the water at some of the industrial areas. Then finally a run down and back through the nature park to complete the circuit.
There was a lot of construction around P0251 and some of the roads were closed, so it was a matter of just finding a path around it all.
You could join this up with the coastal path around the park to make a 30+km circuit if desired.
