Itinerary description
"Catacombs" - so called extensive network of tunnels and labyrinths under Odessa.
Odessa catacombs turns out to be one of the longest and most complex in the world. Their total length is estimated at about 2 500 km. For comparison, Roman catacombs are only 300 km long, Paris catacombs are about 500 km long.
In XIX century catacombs were widely used by robbers, in ХХ century it was the guerrillas shelter. Now there is a Partisan Glory Museum.
On the way you will also see Duke de Richelieu garden, Hadzhybeyskyy estuary, and the Black Sea coast.
