Itinerary description

This route circles the central portion of Lake Granbury and explores the area to the north of the lake. Most of the route is in the country surrounding the lake on rolling hills. FM 51 is busy and has little shoulder. Be careful. Hwy 377 in Granbury is also busy but has a wide shoulder and you are only on it for a short time. While you don't see much of the lake you do see a lot of pretty country side. Go in the spring and you'll see plenty of bluebonnets.
