We took the bikes in "victoria garage", 10e the bike + 1e the helmet. Dirty bike but in very good condition. We start the route to the north, it quickly leaves the city and driving on secondary roads is very comfortable, very little traffic. First stop at Wied il-Ghasri, a very special beach given that it is at the end of an arm of the sea that juts into the cliff. Then we advance through the salt flats to Xwejni beach. Incredible place for snorkel lovers. The route then passes through a small charming town, Marsalforn, I recommend eating here. IMPORTANT, so far the route has small salvageable climbs but from here on they will become much more accentuated so if you are not in good shape, perhaps I recommend turning around. As I said, leaving the town with a very steep slope that finally leads to Calipso Cave where there are beautiful views of the Rambla beach. We decided not to go down to the beach since the slope to go down was again very steep. Return to Victoria through the town of Xaghra where there are two very old Neolithic temples (Ggantija). Important if you want to do another version of the route. AVOID MAIN ROADS.
