Itinerary description
Route starts at Audobon Park (Butterfly Riverview Park) in New Orleans and follows the levee path until it ends just beyond the causeway, then follows the river along the road with only a couple of exceptions where it follows the road across little juts of the river to cut off serious miles, then rejoins the path near Baton Rouge. It's all paved, although you can opt for gravel levee if you prefer over road for most of the route.
Utterly flat, no shade, and no bike lane on the road for the most part, but very low traffic roads.
