Itinerary description
The best way to explore the island of Noirmoutier, France is by bike. With its flat terrain and abundance of bike paths, it's the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely ride. You can stop at any of the beaches, forests, or charming villages along the way to swim, have a picnic, or simply soak up the scenery.
We started our cycling trip from the Huttopia campground, and followed the trail that covers the shores of Noirmoutier. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow, and it takes you through some of the island's most beautiful landscapes.
Along the way, we visited several beaches, including the Plage des Dames, the Plage de l'Herbaudière, and the Plage de la Luzeronde. We also stopped in the small town of L'Herbaudière, where we had lunch at one of the many restaurants along the harbor.
After lunch, we continued on our ride, eventually making our way back to the campground. The total distance of the ride was around 25 kilometers, but it can be easily customized to fit your fitness level and interests.
* Forgot to turn on the GPS tracking for the first few kilometers. but this is a round trip
