Itinerary description
Montecristo - Fossa Paganica campo imperatore
The ride starts in Fonte Vetica (beneath the cable car) and arrives at Campo Imperatore 2100mt. Road shared with cars and motorcycles, careful. Suggestive landscape. The way back is almost downhill. Very enjoyful ride and many great places to take pictures or go for a hike. When arrived on top there are a few places for eating grilled meat, sheep meat skewers, and sandwiches. A must do if you are in this area. The road is not accessible during winter. The last mile is a ski track during snow season.
If you want to proceed, you may go to Fonte Vetica instead of going back to Fonre Cerreto but the trip becomes much longer.
