Itinerary description

This ride starts with a BIG climb but the beauty of the scenery should not be passed too quickly! The ride follows country roads most of the way into Portmadog. Here we took a diversion to visit Borth-y-Gest. This is a lovely little seaside village with a couple of great cafe's by the sea. Next we head to Criccieth, we take the short trip back to Portmadog and then using the path for the majority of the way. This part isn't as interesting but it gets you to Criccieth which is well worth the visit. The ride back uses more main roads , the very last section is stunning by the side of the estuary.
