Itinerary description

This is a great route with just the right amount of hardness. Most of the ride is in West Texas farmland and ranchland. Technically it is flat, but the ever present prairie breezes can change the difficulty quickly, sometimes while you are still on the route. The canyons are not as deep as some other canyons in the area but the walls are steep providing a challenging climb. You may observe Tarantula’s, snakes (sometimes rattlesnakes), Prairie dogs, Deer and Turkey’s along the roadside.
