Itinerary description
Recovery ride.
The road to and from Dobbiaco is gently downhill towards Dobbiaco and uphill back so you can really get some speed both up and down. The stretch on the SS49 is quite busy but very short lived and the ride through Villabassa and up the hill is very pleasant but tough going.
We had originally intended on cycling to Monguelfo to see the castle and lake but the road stopped where we turned round and turned into a 4x4 track.
