Itinerary description
A 33 point 33 kms road bike ride on a sunset. The calmness and peacefulness of this island, especially on its borders right next to the water, are indescribable.
Lake of the two mountains from the Nord and Lake St. Louis from the South.
I passed by lovely houses overlooking the lakes. Some of them are cozy and humble where others are empires and heartbreaking but all of them are dramatically surrounded with greeneries and immersed within tall trees.
The trail is mostly flat as apparently is mostly the case in Canada.
The shadow of the trees and the fresh lake breezes makes your trip more enjoyable and you barely meet any car too.
It was a very pleasant ride, my first ride with my new bike in my new country.
