Καλαμάκι - Κερί lighthouse - Λαγανάς

Easy trail that I did by bicycle but can perfectly be done (and easier) by motorbike. I goes from Καλαμάκι to Κερί's lighthouse and comes back to Λαγανάς (actually, I was going back to Καλαμάκι but my GPS died). To arrive to Kerí it's a nice uphill but nothing really hard. Just bring water with you and keep in mind that it is really worth to arrive until the end, to the lighthouse. The views are spectacular!
I started in Kalamaki and took the road to arrive to Laganas. There you follow the secondary paths, which are beautiful and allow you to feel more in a Greek Island and not in a Touristic village. All the olives grooves feel natural. Then you arrive to the main road and you will follow it till the end, to Keri and it's Lighthouse. There you can enjoy the views, that's what you are here for ;)
The on the way back, you can turn to Keri Lake. There is a beautiful and quiet beach where you can take a bath (if it's summer). You deserve it! Then you see that there is a part of the track that goes and comes back. It's just a small path that does lead to anywhere (that can be ridden by bike) but the views are really nice.
Then you follow the path to come back to Laganas but before you can make a short visit in Agios Sostis. A small port. Then you come back to Laganas and take the road to Kalamaki.

Ruta fàcil que vam fer en bicicleta però que es pot fer perfectament en moto (de fet, pot ser més fàcil). Va des de Kalamaki fins al far de Keri i torna a Laganas (en realitat tornava cap a Kalamaki però es va acabar la bateria del GPS). Per arribar a Keri hi ha una bona pujada, però res difícil, només que és una mica constant. Senzillament porta aigua amb tu i tingues en compte que val molt la pena arribar fins al final. Per això estàs aquí ;) Les vistes són espectaculars!
Vaig començar a Kalamaki i vaig agafar el camí que porta a Laganas. Aleshores vas per camins secundaris, que són més bonic i t'endinsen més a l'ambient d'una illa grega i et permeten allunyar-te de les ciutats turístiques. Els camps d'oliveres ho fan tot més natural. Aleshores arribes a la carratera principal i la segueixes fins al final, fins al far de Keri. Allí gaudeixes de les vistes, magnífiques!
De tornada pots desviar-te cap a Keri Lake. Allí hi ha una platjeta molt maca i tranquil·la i et pots prendre un bany (si fa calor). Te'l mereixes! Ara pots veure que hi ha un tram del recorregut que va i bé. Senzillament és un caminet que no porta a cap lloc apte per a bicis o motos, però amb bones vistes.
De tornada segueixes el track cap a Laganas però abans tens la oportunitat de fer una petita visita a Agios Sostis. Un port petit. Aleshores arribes a Laganas i ja te'n pots tornar cap a Kalamaki.
