Second part of the circular route to Trim. I have considered it moderate by the total distance including the first part, as well as by the universal flood that can surprise you in Ireland at any time. I forgot to record the track for the first 15 km, so I did it on google.

The first 4 km through the R-154 road with enough traffic to the detour of the L-2203 road and under a terrible rain.

This second time I make routes in Ireland I have finally realized how the roads in this country work in order to enjoy cycling, after my past experience in the Ring of Kerry:
- The "M" Motorway are the only existing highways, obviously not suitable for cycling, although there are people who do it by the shoulders.
- The "N" Nationals are very high traffic roads but at least have a bit of shoulder.
- The "R" are roads with medium traffic, but with a non-existent shoulder. Compared to Spain, respect for the cyclist is not much better. if a car does not come in front the vast majority of drivers open and respect the safety distance, but if it coincides that a car comes in the opposite direction, the vast majority neither reduce speed nor wait for the car to pass in the opposite direction, and you pass by even some trucks.
It is NOT advisable to use these "N" or "R" roads except for a small link section.
- The "L" and the rest of rural roads without denomination are ideal for the enjoyment of the road bicycle, roads without traffic, good asphalt, and with a nature and greenery that gives it a special charm. The use of mountain biking in Ireland, at least as far as I know it seems complicated, the whole country is divided into fences, fences and walls, there are very few paths through natural areas.

Continuing with the route, we continue along the L-2203 road following the course of the River Boyne, under heavy rain, diverting through different secondary roads, the first 14 km are totally flat, until starting a land of up and down to, but not of much physical difficulty. I did not have time to stop to see "The Tara Hill" because of the bad weather

At km 20 I stop pouring rain, so I stopped to put on some dry socks at least and drink coffee. Very good deal and tremendous coffee for 2 euros at the Fox Castles Lounge.

The rest of the route runs along beautiful roads and landscapes, except for a section of 1.5 km along the R-152 road with intense traffic as expected.
After deviating from the R-152, we will have a couple of km of ascent by a road, whose asphalt is destroyed and disappeared in many points, (attached Photo) nevertheless with care I do not puncture the road bike.

From this point I did not have major incidence until arriving at Balbriggan, it agrees to stop in Fourknocks and the Nail Tower, that to me being sogged I did not dedicate much time to him.
