Itinerary description
A newly completed section of the Great Taste Bike Trail, this section from Belgrove up to and through the 1.38km long disused train tunnel through the Spooners Range.
Its an easy but steady uphill gradient from the main road to the tunnel entrance.
Good light required for the tunnel.
If you park in the Belgrove pub car park its a 15.7km round trip, and there is the extra benefit of an excellent coffee, hot chocolate or cold drink at the end!
This section will soon link up with the rest of the Great Taste Trail which will eventually form a loop up through the Motueka Valley.
