Itinerary description

Un percorso facile, alla portata di tutti, per lo più pianeggiante attraverso strade secondarie, piste ciclabili e brevissimi tratti di strade bianche. Si potrà godere della bellissima vista su Marostica, città murata famosa nel mondo per la partita a scacchi con personaggi viventi. La vista delle mura possenti che cingono in un affascinante abbraccio la cittadina, ci accompagnerà per gran parte di questa escursione fino ad arrivare a Bassano del Grappa, dove è d'obbligo una foto sul famosissimo Ponte Vecchio. Magari dopo un bicchierino di "graspa" (per ricaricarsi) il rientro è veramente rilassante, un saliscendi ai piedi dei colli tra Bassano e Marostica, con spettacolari viste sulla pianura costantemente circondati dalla natura. Le piccole contrade vi sorprenderanno e a volte sembrerà di essere veramente dentro un vero e proprio carosello medioevale.

PONTE VECCHIO - MONUMENTO NAZIONALE

Il Ponte di legno (chiamato anche Ponte Vecchio o Ponte degli Alpini) progettato da Andrea Palladio in questo materiale perché la sua elasticità fosse in grado di contrastare l’impetuosità del fiume Brenta. The Ponte di Legno (Wooden Bridge, called Old Bridge or the Alpine Bridge), was designed by Palladio in this material so that its elasticity was able to contrast against the impetuous movement of the Brenta river. Die Holzbrücke (Alte Brücke oder Brücke der Alpini genannt) wurde von Palladio in diesemMaterial geplant, weil seine Elastizität in der Lage war, sich dem ungestümen Fluss Brenta zu widersetzen.

CASTELLO SUPERIORE DI MAROSTICA

Dal Castello da Basso si diparte la cerchia delle mura, costruita nel 1372, che ascende al sommo del Monte Pausolino dove sorge il Castello Superiore, che domina dall’alto tutta la piana. È sede di un omonimo ristorante, che propone piatti della tradizione gastronomica locale. From the Castello da Basso begins the circle of walls, built in 1372, that ascends to Mount Pausolino where the Castello Superiore is situated, that dominates from on high the entire plain. It also houses a restaurant that shares the same name and offers traditional local dishes. Von dem unteren Schloss geht der Mauerring aus, der 1372 errichtet wurde. Der Mauerring steigt bis zum Gipfel des Berges Pausolino empor, wo sich das obere Schloss erhebt, das von oben die gesamte Ebene dominiert. CASTELLO INFERIORE DI MAROSTICA

Il Castello da Basso fu costruito nel 1320 da Cansignorio della Scala e subì nei secoli rifacimenti ed abbellimenti. All’interno del castello inferiore si può accedere a numerosi ambienti, fra cui la sala del consiglio, affrescata, il museo dei costumi della partita, a scacchi e la torre con cinta muraria che offre un camminamento davvero suggestivo. The Castello da Basso was built in 1320 by Cansignorio della Scala and underwent over the course of the centuries makeovers and embellishments. Within the Lower Castel there is access to many areas, among which the Council hall, frescoed, the museum of the costume of the chess match and the tower with the boundary wall that offers a marvellous walk. Das untere Schloss wurde im Jahr 1320 von Cansignorio della Scala erbaut und erfuhr im Verlauf der Jahrhunderte Erneuerungen und Verschönerungen.
