Itinerary description
From cp Bordelaeke, Giethoorn to Blokzijl and Ossenzijl. Easy bike trip to some lovely villages in Overijssel crossing some rivers, farmlands along dikes and canals.
After Bordelaeke resort we bike towards Jonen, here you see a nice example of an early watermill. We cross here the river at Jonen with a bike ferry where we continue our journey to Blokzijl and Kalenberg, which can only be explored by bike, on foot or by boot.
After reaching Ossenzijl we head back along some canals (and in our case) strong head- and sidewinds.. bit of rain and a pale sun.. Dutch weather in a nutshell!
