Itinerary description
Welcome in Rent a bike (Bike Tour)
Here you can find a nice Tour for sportive profil person who want to ride and discover the inside/out of berlin within a one Day ride
Starting in the center of the city (Kottbussor Tor) you will first cross Mitte by the small street (warm up for the leg) before leaving the city step by step by wedding and Siemens statt before reaching the Spandau Citadelle (Around 20 km) - From there you exit the urban traffic to enter in the country side of berlin following the Mauer weg and the Havel by smooth road reserved for bike until Oranienburg where you can have a look to the Historical Castle. Third part of Tour is really nice because you cross a huge part of a Natural park (Oranienburg - Bernau)... The threes smeel like the one in the Landes in Frankreich... you forget that you are in berlin during this step ! Then Bernau to Kotti you entering back step by step in the urban traffic reaching Mitte-Friedrischain.
recommandation: Take 2 spare tubes and repair kit - a lot of water - and energy bar.
On this way you will not find a lot of Gaz station or small store to refill the bottle or air station
