Itinerary description
This is a poor name for this very short path, but it connects to a dirt road which, according to some maps is an extenstion of East Lassen Ave. The trail itself is paved and connects to an bike lane on Eaton Ave. The area to the east (where it connects with East Lassen Ave) looks like a vernal pool area, but unfortunately this area has been heavily abused by the OHV crowd. It also appears to be Chico's unoffical dump since a lot of applicances, furniture, and assorted junk have been illeagally disposed of here. It is possible to follow the east lassen ohv area to a levee that will take you to Bidwell Park. With that in mind, the E.L. Trail functions as a connecter with Eaton Ave.
