Challenge Ruwenzori Mountain-Bike Solidarity in favor of Kelele Africa - II Edition (2019)

From Kimya to Lake Kerere and back.

Description of the route:

We left all the participants together at the Kelele Lodge. We visited Kelele Africa's projects outside of Kimya, the sewing workshop in Kasenda and the “St. Francis Xavier Health Center. ” We also stopped at the Kasenda school where Kelele Africa started.
We continue along the local roads until we reach Lake Kerere. The views are spectacular. There the local children helped us on the slopes. Then they enjoyed the beauty of the bikes while we enjoyed the views.
Back we separated into two groups. The most sugarcane followed the path until he reached Rukomba and from there back to Kimya. The "plan B" group returns to Kimya from Lake Kerere.
