Itinerary description
Cycling - The historical velodrome of Torino, named after Fausto Coppi, was inaugurated in 1920 and races were held until year 1980. After years of decadence, the structure is now privately owned and can be accessed only on special occasions.
Today, a small group of enthusiasts was granted special access and it was a nice occasion to take our tires on the track. Not at speed, as children were also present, but still a rewarding experience. The 45 degrees banks are quite impressive.
The good weather was also used for a ride with friends on some steep sections up the city hill.
