Itinerary description
A one-day route along the middle current of the river Roś, between railway stations Suxolisy and Bila Cerkva.
Most part of the route is along the highways and concrete roads, but at the beginning there is a short distance across the forest (quite comfortable track) and some gravel roads to the hill Solovjina Hora (village Kločky).
This hill is perhaps the most prominent place along the route, as it opens a marvelous view over the Roś valley and neighbouring hills, forests and villages.
There are several old watermills along the way: (late 19th century)
- abandoned and ruined mill in Puhačivka
- still operating mill in Berezna (on electricity, though)
- a large and well-preserved watermill & old hydropower station in Horodyšče-Pustovarivśke (1891).
Another place worth visiting is an unusual church in Parxomivka (1903-1907).
