Itinerary description

Cycling trip on quiet roads from the village of Corrèze to the summit of Suc au May, the highest point in the Massif des Monédières from where you have a great view, and back. The climb of the Suc au May from Chaumeil is quite steep in the woods, but the last 2 km are easy with even some descent. The countryside in this area is very quiet. Apart from woods and pasture, you pass a number of lakes, rivers (e.g. the Corrèze river) and a castle. The Corrèze village has ramparts, an old center, and bars and restaurants. Along the route you will not find much places to eat or drink. The route is completely inside the Parc naturel régional de Millevaches en Limousin.
