Pujar als Arcs no és un port especialment espectacular, però té la mística de ser una de les estacions d'esquí on s'ha arribat en el Tour de França. La pujada no és molt dura, però sí sostinguda, el que sumat amb el desnivell acumulat fa que sigui bastant dificultós de pujar. L'arribada és a la part més alta de l'estació d'esquí. Es parteix de 815 metres, a Bourg Saint Maurice, i s'arriba a la cota més alta a més de 2000 metres.
Subir a les Arcs no es un puerto especialmente espectacular, pero tiene la mística de ser una de las estaciones de esquí donde se ha llegado en el Tour de Francia. La subida no es muy dura, pero sí sostenida, lo que sumado con el desnivel acumulado hace que sea bastante dificultoso de subir. La llegada es en la parte más alta de la estación de esquí. Se parte de 815 metros, en Bourg Saint Maurice, y se llega a la cota más alta a más de 2000 metros.
DESCRIPTION:
Climb to les Arcs is not especially spectacular, but it has the mystique of one of the end of stage of the Tour de France. The climb is not very hard, but sustained, which added to the accumulated makes it very difficult to climb. Arrival is at the top of the ski resort. The starting point is 815 meters in Bourg Saint Maurice, and reached the highest level in more than 2000 meters.
