Itinerary description

This trail covers only the 60 km gravel road leading to Lago Jeinemeni.
The hiking loop Piedra Clavada - Cueva de las Manos - Valle Lunar is covered in a separate work (N. 17226384).
The altitude gain is limited, but consider that there is not a single stretch of asphalt. The gravel is not bad, only take care at a couple of the sometimes steep descents leading to the river crossings.
The scenery is exceptional, the highlights are the little laguna that one meets halfway, and tje arrival at the lake. My work is somewhat incomplete since, having not carried tent and sleeping bag, I could not spend the night at the lake. Being due to return to Chile Chico, I could not follow entirely the shore of the lake, let alone push on to Lago Verde.
