Itinerary description
This is a classic Lombardy bike route. At first, ride along the naviglio Grande, starting from the church of San Cristoforo sul naviglio, passing through Trezzano and Gaggiano all the way to Castelleto, just before Abbiategrasso where the naviglio Bereguardo begins. A beautiful run along the n. Bereguardo and a small detour through the fields leads to the abbey of Morimondo. On the way back we got to the center of Abbiategrasso. There are plenty of platforms over the naviglio Bereguardo where it's possible to sit/lay down and enjoy the moment. Also, an excellent place to have Ossobuco is the restaurant near the abbey in Morimondo. If you're looking for something lighter, there's a bar near the little castle in the center of Abbiategrasso that serves good salads and panini.
