Itinerary description
A straightforward way to go from the north to the south coast of Crete.
Actually, this is the shortest way to Sougia. If you have time, you will probably want to complement with something other - first suggestion: the diversion via Omalos, which involves a little more climb, yet not many more kilometers.
Note: the itinerary starts from the Venizelos tombs, on the hill above Chania. It does not feature the visit of the town.
