Itinerary description
A nice bike ride along the Cataraqui Trail from the scenic Chaffey's Lock to Sydenham Lake. The trail is an old railway trail (very straight and flat) with a fairly good surface. There are spots with lose gravel and bare earth so give yourself plenty of time. There are some interesting things along the way and our group enjoyed stopping to see the sights from snakes to swans to the infamous Frank's Culvert.
There are several road crossings along the way (for easy trail access) and places to leave a vehicle at either end. An enjoyable ride on a beautiful spring day.
