Itinerary description
Nice bike ride almost exclusively on paved trails. It takes you down to the shoreline of the Ottawa River and then east to the Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill. A good portion of this trail is a part of the Trans Canada Trail.
Several parks, benches and picnic tables along the way as well as some nature plaques and maps. The trail is well used by cyclists, joggers and roller bladers. It passes by the War Museum at LeBreton Flats and provides some nice views of Gatineau across the river.
Lots to see when you get to the Hill but a tough incline at the very end.
