Itinerary description
Some nice views of lakes and streams, usually some wildlife along the way and on a beautiful day it will bring out other bikers, hikers and dog walkers.
Waypoints
Boyce Island
Two railway bridges from the 1950's get you onto and off of Boyce Island. Nice views of Sydenham Lake and Eel Bay to the north.
Hogan Road
Turn right onto Hogan Road. You will return to this spot from the trail directly ahead of you (this is the loop portion of the ride). Several hills to give you a little variety (and some cardio) but typically not much traffic. There are a couple of intersections I did not turn into waypoints. You will need to turn left at a stop sign which will take you off Hogan Road and put you onto Wilmer/McFadden Road. Later Wilmer will branch off to the right, stay straight on McFadden. Keep an eye out for multi use trail signage so you don't miss the trail!
Intersection McFadden Road and Cataraqui Trail
The intersection gets you back onto the Cataraqui Trail. Keep a sharp eye out for this one as you come down the hill! There are a couple of intersections I did not make note of. You will need to turn left at a stop sign which will take you off Hogan Road and put you onto Wilmer/McFadden Road. Later Wilmer will branch to the right, stay straight on McFadden.
