Nice route through Wexford County. It runs on small local roads, except about 2.5km that goes along the R-742 at the beginning of the route, but with very little traffic. At km 21.3 you have to cross the R-741, you have to be careful the cars go fast in that section.

Btt in Ireland
In Ireland the field is private and there are almost no dirt tracks, the few that are are private and many are usually closed to the public. In a very kind way, they have already thrown me several times. It is true that there are some Trail Centers and Bike Parks where you can enjoy mountain biking, but they are scarce.
The best option, without a doubt, is the small local roads, to enjoy the beautiful Irish landscape. They are practically asphalted rural tracks, with little traffic and usually with a small strip in the center of moss or grass, they are narrow almost two cars do not pass.
In the Republic of Ireland there are four types of roads identified by a letter:
M - Motorways, highways with several lanes in each direction, cycling is not allowed. With enough traffic.
N - National roads, roads in good condition, usually one lane in each direction but with a large shoulder, much larger than Spanish roads. With enough traffic.
R - Regional roads, one lane roads per direction, usually with lines and with very small or non-existent shoulder. With average traffic normally.
L - Local roads, local roads with little traffic, usually without lines and in not very good condition. Generally, the more numbers you have the narrower and in worse condition you will be. These are ideal for cycling, from my point of view, since they are very quiet and have spectacular views.
Personally, seeing that there were not many tracks in the country, I decided to take my old mountain bike that had become a hybrid for use in the city, and it was clearly a success. The rigid frame, hybrid covers and lockable fork are perfect for driving on the small roads of Ireland. Although the best option is a gravel bike.
REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE TO CIRCLE LEFT! :)
