Itinerary description
Starts St Madoes, east of Perth, off A85, on-street parking, shop. Brief climb on to Braes of the Carse (west Sidlaw Hills), then descent and easy ride to Horse Shoe Cafe, Inchture (transport cafe, ample room for bikes, outside seating area). Loops around Carse of Gowrie, passes Errol Airfield (World War II, now skydiving and car boot sales) and returns via Errol village on the flat. Can be extended to Longforgan or Invergowrie where bike path to Dundee. Quiet roads and lanes. Suitable for road bikes.
