Itinerary description
Rated moderate because of climb and descent of the Rhogo. Starts from Builth on Sustrans route 8, then a not too busy main road to Matt's common. From then minor roads over the Rhogo (care on the steep descent and sharp corner), over the main Builth - Llandrindod road to Cwmbach, and return along the largely traffic free old main road, then pavement to Builth. Good views of the Carneddau hills and Edw Valley with the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons in the distance, and the Cambrian Mountains on the way back.
