Itinerary description
A half off-road route from Olimp to Vinča and further to Veliko Selo and Slanci with the goal of reaching Mirijevo.
Route goes from Olimp by Mirijevo and Kaluđerica neighborhoods all the way to entrance of Nuclear Institute which is closed for non-employees and user has to go back 800 meters on crossroad to Vinča. From there all the way to the neolithic archeological site sitting on Danube, you go by public roads, not that frequent.
From there the real journey starts, through off-road and hardly paved roads. First you visit the ugly dump site which has a sandy road as well. And then go to the trash processing facility of Vinča. When you reach it, agony starts as for two kilometers there is no road at all and you have to go through abandoned paths used by farmers and even cross on foot a one meter deep, one meter wide canal. Once you cross it, you go through farms (not farm roads) and after about the kilometer you join the farm road, which is very muddy and you'll even have to remove excess mud from the bike.
That road is leading to Veliko Selo, which finally has some public roads (asphalt) and you join main road to Slanci, Trafostanica and further finish route in Mirijevo at the washing site for the bike (and yourself)! Great route!
