Itinerary description
We took the metro to Assago Forum to avoid the unpleasant sections in the city. From there, we cycled about 18.5 km along the Naviglio Pavese up to the Certosa. We visited the Certosa during the afternoon opening (it's only open for a couple of hours in the morning and in the afternoon, so make sure to time this well). Then we cycled back to Assago.
The cycling path is mostly quite relaxed and there were relatively less people compared to the other navigli in the area. There was only one section of a couple of kilometers, between Binasco and Casarile, where the lane became narrow gravel and not particularly nice. Especially the section closer to Pavia is quite nice to cycle.
