Itinerary description
Basic information but can be useful if you are a beginner in road cycling in Dubai and looking for tracks to cycle.
Al Qudra Road cycle path is a track that goes along Al Qudra Road and BOTS (stands for the bottom of the stick) is a popular location to park your car and start cycling.
Parking location coordinates are 24.999279, 55.307188. Park your car as close to the track as possible so you will not have to walk in your cycling shoes on the sand since the parking lot does not have asphalt.
This cycle path is straight and leads to Al Qudra cycling track. You will interact with cars twice. The first time while passing an ENOC gas station at P-03, then 500 m later, and at P-11. In all cases, cars are stopped by speed bumps and they will give you a way.
There are trash bins like at P-04 and a couple of emergency (SOS) points like at P-09. A rest area is located in the middle of a track at P-07.
One way takes probably 30-40 mins to accomplish depending on your fitness level.
