Mamer to Mersch
Look forward to the popular cycling day for the whole family in the beautiful Mamertal!
On Sunday, July 16, the route between Mamer and Mersch will be closed to car traffic from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m., so that cyclists and pedestrians can enjoy free rein. A wide range of catering as well as a colorful program at many booths along the way, a stamp rally and free shuttle buses complete the offer.
Stamp rally with great prizes
"Alles op de Vëlo" – eng "Success story", déi hiert Zil erreecht huet
In 1995, the first edition of "Alles op de Vëlo" took place. Goals for the introduction of this cycling day were, among other things:
With complete success: every year thousands (in some years up to 8,000) – whether rain or oppressive sun – took part in the cycling day and enjoyed this carefree day to the fullest.
Now, after 25 successful editions, it has been decided that this year's 26th edition should come to an end. "Alles op de Vëlo" is a "success story" and as the saying goes: you should stop when it's at its best.

Practical information
Arrival by train Travel comfortably by train to Mamer or Mersch, it is possible to take bicycles with you on the train
. As a special service of the CFL, partner of the Cycling Day, there is an hourly arrival from the Mamer-Lycée train station, which is particularly close to the cycle route (departure Luxembourg from 7.45 a.m. to 19.45 p.m. / departure Kleinbettingen from 8.15 a.m. to 20.15 p.m.). A view of the timetables and other trains can be found at www.cfl.lu and under www.mobiliteit.lu. Thanks to the CFL as a partner of the event.
Arrival by bike
Cycle comfortably from Luxembourg City via the PC15 cycle path to Mersch or from Luxembourg City via the PC1 and PC13 to Mamer.
Free bus service
The Mamer-Mersch route is 18 km, i.e. 36 km for a round trip. If your legs get too tired in between, there are free shuttle buses available from 13.00 p.m. with the possibility of transporting bicycles, which run between the villages of Mamer, Kopstal and Mersch in both directions.

- Take part in the stamp rally of "Alles op de Vëlo": free tickets and stamps are available at 4 stands along the route.
- Cards with at least 3 stamps will be entered into the lottery drum, there are great prizes to be won!
- The winners will be notified in writing.
