Itinerary description
Early morning cycling along the Tama river.
The rainy season is over and summer prompts the need for some coolness.
I then decided I could go cycling and set for an early start, even before sunrise, somewhere around 3:50 AM.
I underestimated the heat as I was already drenched in sweat no later than 4:00 AM. However I didn't wake up early for nothing since the sky was exhibiting great colors before and during the sunrise. Only that time the reflex was too heavy and I only brought a point and shoot. I need to go back early some other time with a real camera to get better pictures.
Even with an early start the very narrow path on the West of the Tama river is soon crowded with elderlies who go for their morning stroll. At around 5 AM it was hard to keep cycling at full speed while slaloming between slower bikes and pedestrians.
