Itinerary description
A hilly ridge stretching all the way from Bumbálka via Cáb to the very outskirts of Vsetín encompasses one of the great nordic ski routes of Beskydy mountains. The trail is challenging yet eventful and offers true natural skiing experience as there's usually no artificial ski track to ride along. On the downside this area has been plagued by the lack of snow as of recently rendering parts of the the trail impassable. So be sure to check the actual conditions before setting out.
The so called "Walachian Buffet" at "Pod Kotlovou" works only on weekends.
The trail could be approached comfortably from Bumbálka (a border mountain pass), Třeštík (tiny ski resort), Čarták-Soláň (another ski resort) or Cáb (a mountain hotel nearby) - all of these locations serve as a natural starting points.
