From the shores of Lake Vuontisjärvi and through its icy cloak, we will once again enter the heart of Pallas Ylläs Tunturi. Little by little we will gain altitude until we reach Montellinmaja, located in the center of these 4 big hills that once were sharpened mountains known as the Esvekocarélico System.
Among these mountains is Nammalakuru, a refuge that will allow us to stop and rest in the heat of a tea in the middle of all this arctic scenery before descending to return to Vuontisjärvi through Lake Saivojärvi.
