Itinerary description
Part of Algonquin Provincial Park's Leaf Lake system of
cross country ski trails. These are some of the best in
Ontario.
The Pine Tree trail visits an awesome cabin overlooking
the Park. The trail to the cabin is generally upwards
sloping (but nice); after the cabin it is mostly
downwards and fast (except for one or two climbs). After the Pine Trail this track is combined with the Thistle Lake loop.
The trail can easily be combined with other trails in the
vicinity.
