Your tour starts at the trail parking lot at Stern. It's a circuit that most skiers go counterclockwise. The reason for this? A short, but rather steep mountain on the track, which at least beginners master better uphill. At first, it's only a flat 700 m to a wood collecting station, from where a scarce 500 m slightly sloping route is pending. With fast snow and well-waxed skis, you can reach speeds in excess of 25 km / h. So beware! At an intersection you have to turn almost right at a left - and above all, brake really well. Passing some rocks, you reach the first small ascent, before it flattens out again. Now you have reached the furthest point of Jonsbergrunde. The way back is on the Jonsdorf side of the Jonsberg. Here comes another increase in the form of a S. The good news: It is the penultimate time that things go uphill. At a junction, take the steep path and keep to the left. Now, however, you have to give everything for the longest climb again. You can do without the staking step, but only if you have well-waxed skis. Then it goes through a beech forest. There, where he brightens briefly, comes to the right a beautiful view with bench and great view (photo from I-side). Now you've made it, because it's just slightly downhill, in between come some small, fast pieces. After a right turn you already see the parking lot. Still power? Then just make another round!
