Itinerary description
The view at Glacier Point is one of the most magnificent I have ever seen. The 'trail' consists of walking/cross country skiing on the Glacier Point Road. This is pleasant, but nothing special. However, the view at Glacier Point was SPECTACULAR! The snow only covered part of the road, so I had to walk more than half of the way. I guess this deterred the cross country skiers. But there was too much snow to hike to Glacier Point from Yosemite Valley. -So when I arrived at Glacier Point, I was the only person there. I had the place all to myself! What a treat!
