Itinerary description
The cave is located approx 300 meters east of the village of Adrianos.
Keep straight on after the sign and follow the stony pathway until you meet the "Madison Cave". Then go up to the left off the pathway and follow the blue and yellow signage, placed on stones and trees all the way up to the cave.
The cave itself is a small cave some 20 meters long and a height of six meters.
A single "room"
A small wall used by shepherd to keep their goats in circles the entrance. The remains of a goat was on the floor the day we visited.
The cave has fairly good lighting but a torch is a must.
The visa from the entrance is superb
It does not take long to view, so I suggest moving on to the Atzinospilos cave across the other side of the path of the gorge.

Great time locating the Caves. 👍 Fabulous area deep in the mountains of Crete 🇬🇷.
